My Number 1 Tip for your Actor Website

Actors often ask me for that one website design tip that will make their site stand out. I used to say there really isn’t one answer. There is so much that goes into making a great website, how could I pick just one tip?

But after really thinking about it, it dawned on me there actually IS one tip that will lead to an awesome, kick-ass site. So here goes ... my number one actor website design tip:

Answer the following question:

What is the story you want to tell?

Okay, I hear the crickets. Let me explain. 🙂

Answering this one question will lead you to create a site that is uniquely you. A site that will represent where you are in the industry now, and where you want to go. A site that makes people feel like they want to know you, and hopefully, to work with you.

How, you may ask?

By answering this question in detail you’ll be able to pinpoint or narrow down:

– Which photos to use, or if you need to have new ones taken
– What colors to wear in your photos and use on your site
– Which fonts to use that support your essence
– Which credits to highlight, and which credits to edit out
– What to say (and not say) in your bio

Basically, if you have a very specific answer to that one question you have a roadmap for making decisions about all the design and material elements of your site!

The thing is, I know it can be difficult to answer this for yourself without second guessing or even knowing where to start.

That’s why I came up with a free 5-part video series that will help you answer that question for yourself. When you finish the training, you’ll have your very own design roadmap that will guide you to create a website that tells your story.

It’s my gift to you, with love and gratitude.
